{"id":50,"date":"2021-04-22T13:11:24","date_gmt":"2021-04-22T13:11:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/herbalhealth.center\/blog\/?p=50"},"modified":"2022-05-03T17:31:56","modified_gmt":"2022-05-03T17:31:56","slug":"the-protein-myth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/herbalhealth.center\/blog\/2021\/04\/22\/the-protein-myth\/","title":{"rendered":"The Protein Myth"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"356\" height=\"242\" src=\"https:\/\/herbalhealth.center\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51\" srcset=\"https:\/\/herbalhealth.center\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image.png 356w, https:\/\/herbalhealth.center\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-300x204.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 356px) 100vw, 356px\" \/><figcaption>INCLUDE PLENTY OF VEGETABLES AND FRUITS IN YOUR DAILY DIET<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">It is a myth that high protein diets are good for us.&nbsp; The average American diet includes high-fat proteins (red meat, milk, cheese, dairy, eggs).&nbsp; Americans have been convinced that these types of proteins are daily essentials.&nbsp; However, most of us are unaware that protein studies have been based on early rat experiments.&nbsp; Rats require about 3 1\/2 times as much protein as a human; humans eating excessive amounts of proteins can seriously damage their health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong><em>TOO MUCH PROTEIN CAN BE DAMAGING:<\/em><\/strong><br>When our diet contains more proteins than we need the excess either adheres to arteries or is broken down in the liver and excreted through the kidneys.&nbsp;&nbsp; This process can cause organs to work harder, excrete more water and lose calcium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong><em>BETTER FOODS FOR BETTER HEALTH<\/em><\/strong>:<br>Better dietary sources of daily protein should include: raw seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame), raw nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans, macadamias etc..) beans, grains and small amounts of yogurt, fish, lamb and chicken.<br>We need to regain control of our health by scrutinizing purchased food products.&nbsp; Daily use of chemicalized and processed foods deteriorates our health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><br>High blood pressure, breast cancer, diabetes, cancer and other diseases are built through the years, from a poor diet.&nbsp; Change is difficult but a few changes can make a difference.<br>Change that matters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">STOP reading the nutritional facts and START reading the ingredients.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">If your food contains dyes (red, blue, yellow) or artificial ingredients, put it back on the shelf.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">MSG (monosodium glutamate) and hydrogenated oils, can speed your heart and damage arteries.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Aluminum \u2013 affects the brain<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">White flour or refined with sugar \u2013 breaks down the immune system and paves the way for disease.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Soda \u2013 can cause stomach and bone damage.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Most fast food &#8211; they are high in salt, fats and cheap ingredients. <\/span> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><\/span><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>CHANGING FOR GOOD HEALTH<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Making these few changes can start you on the way to a healthier body.<br>Our body is designed to digest and handle many different foods even if they are not good for us.&nbsp; However, a steady diet of chemical-laden food is destroying our health.<br>By: M.
