Constipation
Weak Intestinal Muscles
Constipation can be caused from inadequate water intake, poor liver function, weak intestinal muscles, low fiber in the diet, inadequate exercise, poor diet or stress.
Eating more fiber and drinking more water should take care of constipation however, in many cases this does not work. If you are one of the people that suffer from constipation no matter what, try this:
Drink one glass of carrot juice daily (4 carrots, 1 green apple, 1 clove of garlic, ¼ of a head of cabbage)
Try a fruit drink: 4 oz of black cherry juice, 2 oz of prune juice, 2 oz of aloe vera juice, a handful of raspberries, two tablespoons of ground flaxseeds and 1 teaspoon of organic olive oil and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Blend and drink, 1 or 2 times per day.
If all else fails drink a mixture of; ½ pound of finely chopped prunes and ½ pound of figs, add a half ounce of cascara sagrada, add enough molasses to make it thick and pasty. Simmer in a glass pan for about 20 minutes. Eat ½ of a cup daily.
Caution: limit the first two drinks to every other day if you suffer from diabetes.
